Urgh. The bait boxes have been down for 3 days now. Last night I saw a mouse. The night before Rachael heard them in her room. Why won’t they just go die! URGH!

I took a new profile piccie today, but I have no idea how to use it as my avatar…

That aside. I’m working on drawing a range of little cute critters (and some not so cute ones). It is kinda inspired by spore - and a few other things. I plan to populate the house with them. Currently Chicken Don occupies the burglar alarm. Though it should be noted that while don is a bird, he looks nothing like a chicken… Kinda wierd, but fun all the same I’ll get them all onto DeviantArt when I get a chance.

My graphics tablet decided to ruin my life by not working properly - so all drawing is done with the mouse. URGH… Makes it slow.

Well Pete and Pat’s (and their friends) days are numbered. Today the pest control officer places bait boxes everywhere. They should nip in there for a snack… then die. Also seem to be having some relationship issues. Lack of communication you could say… Now Becky has gone on holiday there is NO communication for most of next month. Oh Boo… Doesn’t look good

Hope to be around more when broadband is sorted….

I’ve finally written my “about me” page. I really don’t like writing about myself but hey- done. It looks a little messed up, meh, the formatting seems broken . No bold, no image alignments and the bottom paragraphs not working :( But it is written and done - for the most part

We discovered ANOTHER mouse last night. Certainly different to Pete. This one had much lighter colours. We’ve named it Pat. We also spotted Pete last night too! He was poking his head out of one holes near the pipes in the living room while Pat was poking out a hole under our counter in the kitchen! They always see if you see 1, there are many more your NOT seeing. I’ve seen 2… I’m worried about the scale of this infestation!

The estate agents have been informed of our little rodent problem. We’re kinda attatched to little Pete now. He is very cute. However he is vermin, riddled with disease and infections that he would easily spread to us without a care. Oh well. I guess his days are numbered. Just wish the estate agents could assure us someone would be over today…

Now we’ve spotted vermin in the house. Just seen one mouse, but there are sure to be more! Off to the estate agents now. I cannot believe they’ve let a place so messed up. Vermin is the last straw. This is it. Grrr!

I seem to be playing a game of Sims in real life at the moment. Except this is quite stressful. Last week I moved into my student digs. In-fact, I’m sat there now, typing this :P However, our house was far from ready. We were due to let from Tuesday (last week), Now 9 days later; Thursday, things are still not quite done. Kudos to the estate agents, they’re here every day fixing things. Just should have all been done by now!!! Yesterday was a big day I guess. Three cleaners, two electricians, a plumber, a carpenter and an oven man. Got our new hobs, clean sofas, finally hot water and central heating working complete, and the measurements taken for our new oven. Its starting to look good. Its starting to become a home. It is finally livable.

However there is still quite a bit to be done. Today the missing bed arrived, and hopefully a bedside cabinate and oven should follow. The previous tenants left some stinky rubbish in our yard that is still yet to be cleared and we’ve got a dodgey light in the utility room.

*Sigh*

Luckily Rachael has been marshelling the workmen from the estate agents to make sure everything gets done, and now that I’ve moved in I am helping. It’s getting there. Just a whole lot of un-needed hassel! This should have been done before we moved in! Least it is happening, even if slowly.

To make things worse, the bank account we set up to pay the house bills collectively still isn’t set up. It means we have not been able to pay the water bill yet - nor set up broadband or telephone accounts. Waa :’( Thank goodness for my SHINY new mobile broadband from Three

I have to say It is nice to be back online. First off, kudos to Rosana on the SHINY new wordpress theme for our blogs! Woop! More importantly. I can get back on the Spore forums I’ve missed them. It has been kinda wierd without the net. A friend if borrowing the sims off of me, so I have been unable to play (no disk). Luckily my newfound Sim City obsession had tided me over. I love my city
